The French Alpe d'Huez resort, consisting of 5 towns, offers skiers 135 routes of various difficulty, the total length of which is as much as 250 km. What distinguishes it from other numerous destinations in the Alps is the longest black ski run in the world, 16 km long. There is also the Pic Blanc glacier in the area, whose peak is at an altitude of 3,330 m above sea level.
