The town of Morgins is situated in the Val de Morgins valley, at the foot of the Pointe du Midi peak (1,850 m a.s.l.). As part of the Portes du Soleil, it has a direct connection to Champoussin as well as to the French resort of Châtel. The routes around the town are classified as the easier ones. The nearest airport is in Geneva, and the valley itself is easily accessible from Swiss Highway 9.
