Portes du Soleil
Les Portes du Soleil (literally "The Doors of the Sun") is a huge ski area with 13 resorts located both in France and Switzerland. It is one of the largest connected ski areas in the world. Despite not the highest altitudes (the maximum we will go to just above 2300 m above sea level), the specific microclimate here provides a lot of snow and allows skiing even at the end of April. The nearest airport is in Geneva.
