Vialattea is one of the largest ski resorts in the world. Connected (in Claviere) with the French Montgenèvre, it offers over a total of 400 km of slopes served by 70 ski lifts. It is located within the borders of Turin, which makes it very accessible to people traveling both by car and air. The complex is made up of the villages of Sestriere, Sansicario, Sauze d'Oulx, Claviere and Pragelato. At the same time, it is often unnoticed, overshadowed by the prominence of the Dolomites or the closer Zermatt-Cervinia.
