This ski resort on the Austrian glacier is open from September until June. It offers over 20 lifts and over 60 km of ski slopes. In the 2016/2017 season, a modern 3S gondola lift was opened, which replaced the well-worn Eisgratbahn from 1973 and will significantly improve the comfort for skiers by eliminating the need to travel by ski bus from the parking lot to the valley station. The longest descent possible in the resort is the combination of pistes 7 and 14, giving you up to 10 km of uninterrupted ride. When booking your accommodation, it's worth asking for the Stubaier Guest Card. This card entitles you to a 10% discount on the ski pass and is offered by most hotels in the valley. The nearest airport is in nearby Innsbruck.
