The largest ski resort in Switzerland 4 Vallées (French for four valleys) is located in the south-west of the country in the canton of Valais. It brings together 6 towns: Verbier, La Tzoumaz, Bruson, Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon. Together, they offer over 400 km of runs, 75% of which are red and black runs. The highest point is Mont Fort (3,330 m a.s.l.) with the accompanying glacier. The iconic Verbier is also a place where various cultural events take place. The nearest airport is in Geneva.
